Music phenomena

We all know what is music, right? Most unlikely. For example,  why humans react on different chords with different emotional responses? When you play C minor they are sad, with  C major they are happy. And this is just beginning, music can bring whole spectre of complex feelings, interpreted situations and scenarios. (i don't talk about lyrics, that belongs to the art of  literature).

Again, If people can't feel happy about C major because they are sad for some other reasons, they  still can recognise the emotion of that sound. We are talking about condition of the air here.   Sci-fi, right? :)

We know about this topic as much as we know about meaning of our existence. Why is important for human to emotionally fell molecular vibrations of air? I don't know, I only know  that Darwin can kiss my hairy monkey ass. This phenomena is not sporadic incidental outcome. It is too complex and appears to be of no importance for the survival.

So, we do not know much, about certain topics, same as we didn't know four thousand years ago. We know some technical issues but don't know "WHY". Some "all knowing guys"  like Charles Darwin or Stephen Hawking, say: "we know everything and our searching, people, is finished. Now get back to work." But mister Hawking why universe exists? I think that this would be our dialog: "It just banged" Me:"I want proof" He:"Its impossible to find that proof with this technology. If you want answer read my, million pages long, book full of mathematical equations or get back to work you peasant." LOL, I'm off topic.

Point is: we know nothing and some people pretend to know it for certain benefits, its just a new religion perpetuate with our ignorance (like always). The goal is: I tell  who and what you are AND WHAT YOU GONNA DO.

What all of this has with music? Well, i think that music is byproduct of that search for "why". Composer is in search for melodies that he likes more than some other melodies. That "why" is always present when he chooses them. The more he works, the more he understands WHY he chose that particular way of harmonies. This is the path in right direction.
